Intended use
The product is a cosmetic oil for external use on the skin, including the external intimate zone. It is used for massages and skin care and supports a pleasant skin feeling and a sensory application experience.
The product has a cosmetic purpose within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. It has no pharmacological, immunological or metabolic effect and is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, alleviation or prevention of disease.
Legal classification
The product is placed on the market as a cosmetic product within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. It is a product for external use on the skin for the care, protection and improvement of the skin sensation as well as to support massages.
The product does not fall under other harmonized European product categories such as medical devices or medicinal products, as it has no medical purpose. The safety of the product is assessed and documented in accordance with the requirements of the Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 (e.g. safety assessment according to Annex I).
In addition, the requirements of the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 and the requirements for cosmetic advertising claims in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 655/2013 are taken into account where relevant.
